For the love of Gaming.....

I have always loved games. Being I was around before computers were a big deal and in every household, I started with card games and board games. Monopoly was my favorite. I would own you in a game of monopoly! For some reason no one liked to play Monopoly with me, I can't imagine why!?!
When I was in middle school we got our very first gaming system. My mom bought us a Super Nintendo. Oh how I loved that thing! I spent hours glued to our Nintendo. Days without sleep. When I did sleep I would dream in game form. Mario was my favorite. I still love Mario! I was excited when my husband bought me a Wii. I bought Mario! I still feel like a kid when I play Mario, only I don't jump with him anymore hoping it will make him jump farther! I am pretty sure my mom still does. It was always funny watching her play.
When we all started to own cell phones it took me a while to download games. Now that almost everyone has smart phones it common to have a couple games on your phone. You almost forget you can actually talk to a human from those things. Personally, I have 8 games on my cell. (This is after I removed 5 or 6) I may have a slight addiction. Don't judge me!
When I first started adding games to my cell I started off with single player non MMO games. Then after 3 months of not getting my husband to look up from his phone I decided to see what all the hype was about. He was playing Valor. It was the Android worlds. Back before they merged IOS and Android. We android users call it "The Good Old Days!"
Valor quickly became an addiction. I was always in game when I had a free moment. I played Valor for 3 years. I still do on occasion. It is a easy game to stop and pick back up. Valor is an MMO game. You sometimes spend hours playing these types of games with people. You even make friends. Some people have even found relationships in these types of games. If you are in a relationship and you don't both play but you spend hours with virtual strangers, prepare to find yourself with a problem. Relationships have ended because of this type of thing. Whether it is because of jealousy or finances. I have seen people spend insane amounts of money on these games. It is very easy to get wrapped up and lose control. At that point the game is less of an addiction and more of an obsession.
Since I stopped playing Valor I have tried other MMO games. None are the same and Valor will always be a little special to me. I tried Grepolis but it was too slow paced and not that exciting. I did not play anything for a while, then E came home excited about Game of War. This was right before all the insane amount of commercials came out for it. You know the ones with the scantly dressed female  bathing or riding around on a horse talking about war. Marketing genius! Every male with a smart phone hopped on that band wagon. GoW bored me kind of quickly since I rather pay my bills vs making Machine Zone wealthy. I am fine with spending a little here and there but the amount some people drop into a game is mind boggling,
A few months into playing GoW, E came home wanting to try Legend of Empire. It was similar to GoW but newer and maybe less with the heavy buyers. We still play LOE. We like this game. Even pulled a few friends from Valor to play with us. It recently made its 1 year Anniversary. Fingerdance had a month long celebration. Most players enjoyed that. All the chances for an Epic Hero, Gold, and other helpful items. New things added to make your gaming experience enjoyable.
Recently people we play LoE with told us about a new game that was coming out. Another MMO game, March of Empires. We preregistered and were promised a special pack for pre-registering. We all expected glitches since it is new and bugs have to be worked out. We all just didn't know how much it would glitch, how we would not receive the pre-registration packs and how little Gameloft would care about the people choosing to try out their newest game. We are a couple of weeks in and it still crashes non stop, chat still has bugs, the map does not fully load, and some people are even having trouble with purchases. You can contact Gameloft through their customer care, but do not expect an answer!
Many players have contacted them on multiple occasions with various issues. You may get a patronizing response to the first message but you will hear squat after that. Just the automated message. Some people are so irritated with it that they have gotten refunds from apple and google play because their purchases are not showing up in game. Negative feedback has been left for Gameloft, Many giving them just 1 star. I am sure if we could give less we would.
MoE itself would be great if they fixed their bugs and the game could be enjoyed. It would be more fun than GoW and LoE but the game creators just don't care, their customer service is lousy, and it all makes the game a huge disappointment.
Wake up Gameloft! Your customers demand more from you!
